QUANTUM WAVE LASER THERAPY
This is a vey new approach within the Psychotherapy field, although cold lasers have been used in the NHS for over the last 10 years to treat muscular skeletal conditions. A friend and colleague of mine Christine, has arthritic knees and I accompanied her on a journey to Florida to investigate some alternative approaches using Laser Therapy. As I learnt more about the therapy I realised that the way in which the laser helps re-balance the body also had possibilities for calming and balancing the mind. I did some more research and on my return booked myself on to a Certified Training Course.
I have found that this therapy really helps people who are suffering long term depression, anxiety, phobias and PTSD. In the first part of the session I use the laser to relax people, then by talking therapy people are in a much calmer space to analyse their problems. I have had some real successes with bereavement cases and one particular PTSD case which only took 6 sessions for the client to normalise.
