I obtained my Diploma in Counselling in 2003 after 20 years experience in Management in various large organisations. Whilst undergoing my training I worked as a volunteer for CRUSE Bereavement in Swindon, Cotswold Counselling in Cirencester and Cotswold Home Counselling.
As well as running my own private Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice I currently work for a large Employee Assistance Provider in a Counselling role. This means that I am constantly dealing with matters of work related stress, relationship problems and bereavement issues over the telephone. My role there gives me experience of assessing peoples problems and helping them find ways of resolving their issues either by telephone counselling or onward referral for Face-to-Face counselling.
I have been working with private clients now for over 8 years and have over 2,000 supervised client hours of experience to help people with Relationship Issues/Mediation, Stress Management, Depression, Anxiety, Phobias, Sexuality and Issues of Loss, Bereavement and Redundancy.
