My name is Jonathan Stubbs and it is my aim to provide you with a safe and reliable service so that you will become empowered to make the changes necessary in your thinking to experience peace of mind and joy in your life once more. I am an experienced Counsellor/ Psychotherapist based in the heart of Swindon but I also provide Counselling in Cirencester, Counselling in South Cerney and Counselling in Marlborough. Accreditted Counsellor for CRUSE Bereavement
I obtained my Diploma in Counselling in 2002 after 20 years experience in Management in various large organisations.Whilst undergoing my training I worked as a volunteer for CRUSE Bereavement in Swindon, Cotswold Counselling in Cirencester and Cotswold Home Counselling.
As well as running my own private Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice I also work for a large Employee Assistance Provider in a Counselling role.
I have been working with private clients now for over 8 years and have over 1,000 supervised client hours of experience to help people with Relationship Issues/Mediation, Stress Management, Depression, Anxiety, Phobias, Sexuality and Issues of Loss, Bereavement and Redundancy.
My Approach to Counselling in Swindon
The approach is Person Centred which means that the work that we undertake is lead by you, the client, and goes at a pace that is comfortable. It is important that people feel respected, accepted and understood in order for it to feel safe enough to explore their own truth and face their dilemmas. A Home Counselling service can be provided but the rates will be increased depending on time and distance travelled.
Rates and Availabilty
Individual Counselling £40 per hourly session
Couples Counselling £55 per hourly session
Appointments from 8am - 8pm Monday - Friday
